Fake. Phony. Sham. Pretender. Charlatan. Counterfeit. Pretender.

Though Shaley might look sweet and innocent, this dog has a vicious, murderous side. She preys on unsuspecting victims who are just looking for a family who will love them.

Along with her accomplice, Petey, she weaves a tangled web of deceit and utter chaos. The sting starts with Petey pretending to be available for adoption. Once they get a nibble, a family who shows interest, the real plans goes into action. Competition is always a part of doggie adoption. When the family decides on Petey's competitors, Shaley makes her move. Shaley, who also goes by the alias Lafawnda, sneaks in, attacks, and eliminates Petey's competition. She then pretends to be the rightful pup and is adopted by the family.

Once inside the house, she pilfers several tens of dollars. Occasionally, she will sneak out and send her good friend Petey a token or two. Because they are so cute, nobody will ever believe they are out to do any harm.

They are a dangerous couple. Do not become entangled in their plan of destruction and greed. If you see either of these dogs, please contact 1-800-THAT-AINT-MY-DOG immediately. You never know where they might turn up next.

Welcome back to another edition of NAME that DOG!!!! Our contestant today is quite the competitor. She crushed her opponent, Petey, for the love and affection of the Karns. It was a devastating turn of events for what seemed like a guaranteed victory for the young lad. He is currently seeking council...I mean counsel.

Shaley the dog has background roots from the Shale Rd region. Congratulations are in order indeed. Tell them what they won Bob.

Bob - They won NOTHING! They didn't even call in that name. Why would we reward them? I don't think our sponsors would want to be a part of that kind of backhanded sneakiness. I'm through with this junk. Get my agent on the phone.

Sudoku

Hello, my name is Sarah and I am addicted.....to Sudoku! A coworker of mine introduced me to this a couple weeks ago. It was a teaser. She was working on it at break and just gave me a peek and quickly explained it. I should have realized the hook right then and there but alas I fell victim to her devious plan.

The object is to have 1 each of the numbers 1-9 entered randomly in the vertical line, horizontal line, and also in each of the 9 - 9 box grids.

I purchased a book of 601 Sudoku puzzles last night. They range from easy to I'll never be able to solve this. So, if you don't see me around for awhile, please stage an intervention!

Pink Eye

We have been attacked by the Pink Eyed Monster. We are unable to get an absolute confirmation until tomorrow but all signs point to yes. So, once again, I have to burn two PDO's on sickness! Argh! The girl isn't too happy about having it either, so we are both "crying in our beers" so to speak.
