Huh?

I don't know why am I am thinking this thought. So, I decided to share it. For some reason, if I were to be an animal all I can think is that I'd be a squirrel. Why? What cause or purpose do they create? You see them smashed on the road all the time. People put ugly metal barriers on their trees to deter them from climbing up them. My mom knows a woman who captures the squirrels in her yard and takes them out to the country. With all that I have mentioned, I still think I would be a squirrel.

I happen to have a yard FULL of squirrels and love it! We love to watch them run up and down the trees and jump from one to the other. So if you become a squirrel, Sarah, you can come live in our yard. We won't chase you off. We even feed OUR squirrels.

I like to watch them jump around on my neighbor's roof. They also sit on our fence by the driveway just like the one pictured. When I drive with my windows rolled down, I am convinced they are going to jump in my car.

We also like to have the black squirell spottings. You see them a lot in Galva. We had one loner hanging around the yard. We would rarely see it and when someone did it was quite the news of the day. Now, we have a couple and we see them often. Black squirrels "hop" when they run. They look like Pepe LaPu.

My grandma also had a "pet" squirrel. She would feed him those black and white sandwich cookies. He would come right up to her on her porch and she would feed him by hand.

Funny how your mind works. When she died, I couldn't stop thinking that the squirrel would also miss her.
